1 Darling Downs Wagyu Burger Patty
Burger buns
Onion
Cremini mushrooms
1 slice of cheddar cheese
Fried shallots
Arugula
Salt
Pepper
Garlic aioli sauce
Truffle paste
Truffle oil
Season the burger patty with salt and pepper according to your preference.
Thinly slice the cremini mushrooms and season them with salt and pepper. Slice the onions and cook them in a pan with olive oil until they caramelize to a rich brown color. Then, sauté the sliced cremini mushrooms as well.
Heat a separate pan and grill a burger patty. For a nice sear and crispy texture, press it lightly during cooking. When the burger patty is almost done, place a slice of cheese on top to let it melt.
In a pan, melt some butter and lightly grill the burger buns.
Mix garlic aioli sauce and truffle paste in a 1:1 ratio, then add truffle oil to create the truffle sauce. Spread the truffle sauce on the grilled burger buns, then layer the sautéed cremini mushrooms, burger patty, caramelized onions, fried shallots, and arugula in that order. When adding arugula, pile it up for a rich, fresh feeling.
Finally, place the top bun, which you've spread truffle sauce on the inner side, to complete your delicious Truffle Mushroom Wagyu Burger!
